Zephyrhills offers the perfect blend of semi-rural living with a modern outlook and amenities. Popularly known as the Friendly City and the City of Pure Water, Zephyrhills in the southeast corner of Pasco County in west-central Florida is northeast of Tampa. It is just a short drive away (roughly 25 miles each way) from the Gulf of Mexico and downtown Orlando. Initially named Abbott after a doctor and later Abbott Station when the railroad arrived, it became Zephyrhills in 1910 and incorporated as a town in 1914.

Located at the center of a network of state, interstate, and US highways, Zephyrhills has easy access to modern commercial centers, world-renowned entertainment opportunities, and excellent educational institutes. Excitement is a short drive away at Disney World, Busch Gardens, and major league ball games, professional Broadway traveling shows, or symphony concerts. The beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are an hour to the west. Zephyrhills Bottled Water, comprising of pure spring water drawn from seven wells is bottled here and sold around the world.

Zephyrhills has numerous sports bars, brewpubs, bowling alleys, and pool tables for the locals to relax after work and on weekends. The Founders Day Parade is an impressive example of community pride in action. The Depot Museum is the focal point for art exhibits and historical programming.
